Two standout teams, Ride Legal Velocity and Team Dirt Legal, delivered impressive performances, collectively securing a first-place victory and a second-place podium finish.
Ride Legal Velocity: Precision Performance in Class 600
In the Class 600 category, the #611 Ride Legal Velocity boat demonstrated exceptional pace and mechanical consistency. Driver Bob Spitulski and throttlemen Scott McCormick navigated the seven-lap course with a total time of 36:07.906, finishing over a minute ahead of the nearest competitor.
The team’s victory was supported by a fastest lap of 4:48.294, proving the effectiveness of their setup in the challenging conditions of the lake. By maintaining high speeds and a tight racing line, Ride Legal Velocity earned the top spot on the podium and established themselves as the team to beat in their class.
Team Dirt Legal: Competitive Excellence in Class 700
The competition in Class 700 was equally compelling, with Brad Christopher at the helm and Connor Langheim as the throttleman of the #789 Team Dirt Legal boat. Competing in a six-lap sprint, Christopher utilized expert maneuvering to navigate through a crowded field of experienced racers.
Team Dirt Legal earned a second-place finish with a total time of 38:50.934. The boat maintained composure throughout the race, successfully defending its position against Mad Max Racing to secure the runner-up spot. This podium finish highlights the team’s commitment to reliability and tactical racing.
