Toyota Motor Corporation is recalling 106,061 U.S. vehicles due to a brake fluid leak which could affect braking performance and raise the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Feb.11.
The recall is affecting specific 2024-2025 Tacoma pickups.
The gap between the rear brake hose and the wheel could collect mud and debris over time, potentially causing damage to the hose and resulting in a brake fluid leak, according to NHTSA.
The NHTSA stated that dealers will replace both rear brake hoses at no cost.
